New name, same sweet event: Tickets on sale now for YWCA Chocolate for Change

YWCA’s Chocolate Fantasy is back on September 5 with a new name for a beloved sweet and spicy event.

FARGO, ND (July 19, 2024) — YWCA’s Chocolate Fantasy is now YWCA Chocolate for Change! This sweet and spicy lunch for good features desserts and chili, a silent auction, games of chance, and so much more. Proceeds from the event support women and children served by YWCA Cass Clay.

On Thursday, September 5, the community is invited to stop by the Delta by Marriott between 11:00am - 2:00pm for event favorites including:

  • Delicious desserts from local businesses and bakers

  • Savory chili: the perfect lunch!

  • Auction items fill the room – with online bidding to shop from anywhere starting August 30

  • New this year - games of chance! Try your hand at winning prizes while supporting YWCA

Gather your friends and coworkers and drop by this fun-filled lunchtime event. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children.

Looking for a way to say “thank you” to customers, clients, or employees? $20 dessert boxes and $50 platters to go for are available for pre-order at ywcacassclay.org/chocolate and purchase at the door on September 5 while supplies last.

It’s more than just chocolate — with every bite, you change lives. The purchase of a ticket, dessert box, or silent auction item at YWCA Chocolate for Change is a sweet way to show your support for YWCA Cass Clay and the 300+ adults and children we serve each day through shelter, housing, and supportive services.
