Holidays at YWCA

BRIGHTEN THE SEASON FOR A FAMILY IN NEED.

Your holiday giving brings joy to YWCA Cass Clay. Trees, lights, wish lists, and gifts are just a few ways that we spread joy to our families during the holiday season. YWCA staff work hard to bring festive cheer, but we couldn’t do it without you.

Adopt a Family - Give hope at YWCA this holiday season!

ADOPT A FAMILY

Women and children living at the YWCA Emergency Shelter are fighting for access to their most basic needs, including safe shelter, food, warm clothes, and other necessities. And for many parents living in YWCA Supportive Housing, purchasing gifts for their children simply isn’t an option due to other critical financial priorities like food, utilities, and paying down debt.

When you adopt a family at YWCA, you spread holiday cheer and let struggling families know that someone cares by making gift-giving one less worry this holiday season. You help ensure that every parent and every child served by YWCA has a gift to open at the holidays.

Complete an interest form below and receive a wish list no later than November 26. Gift drop off will take place the second week of December.

Shop for an individual or family calling YWCA Emergency Shelter home for the holidays.

After you’ve been matched with a wish list, schedule your drop off of unwrapped gifts at YWCA Emergency Shelter.

After you’ve been matched with a wish list, schedule your drop off of wrapped & labeled gifts at Lantern Light: A YWCA Supported Residence.

FILL A HOME WITH HOPE

Fill A Home With Hope is another giving program for our Supportive Housing participants. YWCA currently has 97 apartment units in the community dedicated to providing safety, stability, and hope to once-homeless individuals and families, many of whom are survivors of violence.

We invite you to Fill A Home With Hope by providing household basics for the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and more.

This is a great opportunity for individuals, businesses, clubs and church groups!
