Welcome to YWCA Cass Clay

YWCA is on a mission. We are on a mission to be a place for women and children to turn as they escape violence, homelessness, and crisis. We are on a mission to provide safety, warmth, and hope to those who need it most. We are on a mission to walk alongside each woman, support her as she heals, and remind her of her incredible worth. We are on a mission to empower her to transform her life. We are on a mission to watch her triumph as she moves from fear to freedom, breaking the cycles of poverty and violence and creating a better life for herself and her family.

Join our mission. Change the course of her life.

DONATIONS UPDATE

YWCA Cass Clay is grateful and overwhelmed by the community’s outpouring of generosity in donating used goods in support of women and children escaping violence and homelessness. We thank all who have donated in the past!

YWCA only accepts donations of urgently needed items from 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday at the Emergency Shelter (3000 S University Drive in Fargo). All other used goods can be delivered to our partner, Savers Thrift Store. YWCA donation bins have been closed. Through this approach, the YWCA team will focus on our mission of providing safety, support, and hope to families while receiving critical financial support from Savers for the items the community donates there.

YWCA NEEDS YOU!

As individuals and families transition out of YWCA’s Housing Program and new families arrive, household items will be needed for those ready to begin again. By donating new kitchenware, bathroom items, bedding and more, you help families start their journey to
independence with all the comforts of home.

You can easily donate items from our needs list by shopping online on our Amazon Wish List and shipping directly to the Shelter! While you’re shopping for the basics, consider sending some to YWCA as well!

Serving over 300 individuals each day, we go through a lot of paper products, cleaning supplies, hygiene items, new bras and underwear, household items, and more. Help us provide for families in need with this quick and easy option!
